The wind thundered for only my ears to listen. I gracefully snagged my hat as I flew by. It went way smoother then fear had expected.
Turns out I had a sprained wrist and ended up in 52nd place for that race. But this was my first year at Junior Olympics and I only had one goal. I faced my fear, and beat that hill.
